We talk this week with Robison, who, along with his wife, Dianne, founded CockadoodleMoo Farm Animal Sanctuary, just north of Reno Nevada. Mark talks with us about how he went about starting his own sanctuary, where he learned to care for animals and what it takes to be a sanctuary operator. He also talks with us about his roots in Do-It-Yourself anarchist activism (which no doubt inspired him to start his own sanctuary), specifically through his publishing of a series of ‘zines/newsletters entitled “Don’t Have a Cow”.
